Help pilots
come home.

Wire strikes are the leading cause of fatal low-level helicopter accidents. We're building the real-time awareness that stops them — and we're looking for a few people to own core pieces of it from the ground floor.

A mission that matters

Every feature you ship can keep a pilot alive. The work is real, and so are the stakes.

Real ownership

Founding-team roles with meaningful equity — you own a core system end to end, not a ticket queue.

Remote & async

Work from anywhere. Small team, high trust, ship-when-it's-ready — no fixed timelines.

Built by pilots

Founder-led by a helicopter pilot. Aviation isn't a market to us — it's the reason we're here.

Open roles

Come own a core piece.

Engineering · Remote

Data / Geospatial Engineer

Own the safety moat — the obstacle & wire database and the flight-data pipeline that make HeliHazard trustworthy and defensible.

  • Fuse public + partner data into one confidence-scored hazard layer, and model power-line spans in 3D.
  • Turn flight telemetry into a clean, rights-cleared dataset and serve it to the app in real time.
  • Stack: PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Python, geospatial + a dash of ML.

Senior iOS Engineer

Own the app pilots trust in the cockpit — the SwiftUI experience that turns hazard data into alerts that reach them before the wire does.

  • Ship predictive hazard alerting, an Apple Watch app, and offline maps.
  • Own a clean release pipeline and the reliability a cockpit safety app lives or dies on.
  • Stack: SwiftUI, iOS 26, MapKit, a Supabase backend.
